Responsible for growing income and market share by winning new complex Banking (Turnover £1-£25m) relationships and lending deals from the competition-

Supports the delivery of Banking Strategic Objectives


    Requirements
  • Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and networking skills in the local market
  • Proven ability to win new business
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of the Banking Market and its'  customers and products 


      Responsibilities

      Financial:

      • Increase Banking income by winning new customer relationships from the competition
      • Achieve challenging income targets
      • Improve margins

      Market Share:

      • Grow market share by winning quality new business in line with agreed targets
      • Establish and maintain pro-active relationships with the key professional and intermediary communities to raise the profile of RBS Group in the local marketplace

      People:

      • Support the Business development teams in complex deals, taking the lead as necessary and ensuring the team develop their own skills for the future
      • Develop and coach team members

      Share of Wallet:

      • Maximise opportunities to increase share of customer wallet to 

               - Win and secure customer loyalty
               - maximise non risk income

      • Establish and grow local market presence and reputation of RBS as a trusted business partner

      Customer Service:  

      • Exceed overall Customer Service Satisfaction (CSS) targets
      • Collaborate effectively with Banking Centres, Product Partners, Operation Units and other Group Areas to deliver outstanding service to all clients

      Operating Licence:

      • Understand and adhere to all Risk, credit and operating policies

        ·          Strong planning & organisational skills

        ·          Ability to perform under pressure
