Job Description To lead the design and development of operational, behavioural and specialist learning interventions and activities- Working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, provide a recommendation regarding suitability of learning methods across all media to design optimum solutions that are innovative and meet business demands- Requirements · Understanding of the organisation and its operation · Experience in design and development of training products and blended approach to learning, their uses and limitations · Knowledge of the full training cycle · Project management understanding and ability to apply disciplines to learning design · Translating business needs into learning objectives and outcomes · Ability to match existing content/methods and /or media to training/development needs, the organisation, and the circumstances of use · High level of interpersonal skills · Knowledge of preferred supplier processes · Knowledge of existing curriculum · Knowledge of regulatory compliance in learning design · Knowledge of L&D design processes including sign off, train the trainer and implementation · Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including technical SME's (Subject Matter Experts) both internally and externally Responsibilities · Define performance shortfalls based on needs analysis and determine the most effective training /development solution/approach · Develop compliant and technically accurate training solutions in a timely manner and delivered in the most learner-efficient, cost-effective methods adopting a suitable blend and mix of formal/informal learning · Design all aspects of the learning solution including aims, objectives, exercises, activities, tutor materials, accreditation and training of trainers · Identify evaluation criteria and support large-scale programme evaluation · Work with subject matter experts to obtain technical, specialist or subject information · Ensure successful implementation of learning through pilot and into BAU · Continuously improve existing learning solutions to support the changing needs of our business · Build effective relationships within relevant business areas to maximise design effectiveness · Ensure that all learning solutions created comply with FSA, DPA and any other relevant external or internal regulatory standards · Build a detailed knowledge of training/development methods and media, their uses and limitations and ensure knowledge of our transforming business is kept up to date · Demonstrate how your personal contribution links into the success and the profitability of RBS Insurance · Reinforce the culture and core values of RBS Insurance through appropriate behaviours and actions · Create and edit a range of assessments adhering to standards and processes
