Reporting into to the Treasury Reporting Manager the Derivatives & Balance Sheet Reporting role forms part of the wider Central Treasury Statutory Reporting team.
You will be responsible for the Group statutory derivative reporting process. This involves preparing monthly derivative reports and analytics to senior management, and providing statutory derivative disclosures for inclusion in external reports. You will also be responsible for managing the relationship between central finance and the business areas for all derivative reporting.
Your role will also be responsible for the Abbey Group Balance Sheet Reporting process. This will include the preparation and analytical review of the segmental and Group balance sheets for internal and external reporting. This initially will require the development of existing reporting process to meet the changing business needs.
We are looking for a Qualified Accountant with Financial Services experience and an excellent knowledge of accounting for treasury products especially derivatives and exposure to Treasury Finance Systems. You'll need management reporting experience and excellent communications skills with the ability to deal with cross business functions at all levels. You will have a keen eye for detail and be willing to work additional hours when requested for business critical needs.
