Job Description
To pro-actively influence and fundamentally be part of the decision making process within the business, working with other central functions and channel/commercial teams to provide appropriate support and guidance to senior management and the Executive-   Primarily this is achieved through the provision of informative and insightful financial support and analysis, but also applying broader commercial reasoning attained to promote and challenge new ideas-   For more information please click on the attached role profile-


    Responsibilities
    • Input to strategic and medium term business plans from perspective of own area and contribute to Team/Department/Divisional initiatives
    • Provide value adding expert service, including senior level advice which impacts strategically (over a 5 year time horizon)
    • Develop and influence policy to ensure 'the Executive' has appropriate advice when shaping business strategy- Some specific financial examples would be Treasury policies and IFRS accounting issues
    • Responsible for managing issues of significant impact on the business- These will require structuring complex issues and integration/co-ordination across internal/external functions-
    • Participate in/manage budgeting, forecasting  and monthly Threats and Ops processes
    • Responsible for new and existing systems, processes and procedures, maintaining all standards of practice and effecting improvement within own area of expertise
    • Analysis at a high level of a broad range of information, making decisions within discretion
