Job Description An excellent opportunity for an experienced Debt Management Developement Analyst to work within the Operations Strategy, Architecture and Change (OSAC) division- Specifically working with the Debt Management and Fraud Operations function (DM &FO)- The position provides the opportunity to work and engage with senior stakeholders on a regular basis and deliver successful outcomes which support business delivery- The role will require the successful individual to:- - Analyse, design, build and test Debt Manager changes following agreed governance processes and procedures
- Use specialist knowledge and/or experience of Debt Manager/business areas to ensure all relevant information is available to inform and shape the design and implementation of projects
- Build great relationships with stakeholders & third parties in order to deliver value adding solutions in support of business objectives
- Positively influence Debt Manager changes through challenging assumptions, showing an understanding of the bigger picture and using sound rationale and judgement
Requirements Delivery of complete and accurate Debt Manager change including detailed analysis of relevant inputs Information and recommendation provided to inform & shape business critical decisions in a timely and relevant way Smooth business implementation of projects aligned to business objectives Wide sphere of influence through well developed relationship and stakeholder management Proactive risk identification, mitigation and issue management Proactive problem solving Effectively present proposals for Debt Manager change to the management team via the Quality Assurance (QA) process Deliver high quality technical documents including Functional Specifications and component Designs Undertake investigations into perceived system defects raised by users/incidents, identify root cause and deliver resolutions Drive a culture of business improvement through support of Lean, Continuous Improvement and other relevant programmes Requirement to travel may feature The Individual Knowledge of Debt Manager systems Knowledge of Collections and Recoveries Operations Proven ability to work on own initiative to deliver optimum business solutions Excellent communication skills Knowledge of Banking products and terminology Some understanding of the supported systems and related operational processes Basic SQL would be preferable but not essential Ability to collaborate successfully with a wide range of stakeholders at middle/senior management level Experience of planning and coordinating multiple deliveries Evidence of analytical and problem solving experience
