Job Description To coordinate Data Governance Operating model and Data Quality Analysis activities in support of the RBS Insurance Information Management and Data Governance solution- Responsibilities · Coordinate Data Quality Analysis activities to achieve business data governance objectives, ensuring that all work is documented, adheres to standards and is delivered to agreed business timescales- · Ensure that the Data Governance Operating Model processes are followed & reported on as appropriate- · Manage regular review of, and update of, Data Governance Operating Model- · Monitor to ensure that a full set of Data Owner and Data Stewards are in place and trained- · Manage preparation and execution of "Risk & Impact assessment" process- · Support proactive performance of Data Quality assessment and monitoring of known data quality issues through to resolution- · Support performance of root cause analysis of reported data quality issues and remedial action through to resolution- · Manage stakeholders of own work to ensure clarity of requirements and priorities; keeping them fully appraised of progress and involved in the resolution of issues- · Supervise and mentor more junior colleagues to jointly deliver projects and to support development of their skills- · Identify opportunities to improve our Data Governance and Data Quality processes- · Raise risks and issues as they are identified and work with your manager to mitigate them- · Share best practice with colleagues within Data Governance through mentoring, documentation and training- Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance and audit requirements and that risks are managed appropriately-
