Job Description To perform Data Quality Analysis in support of the RBS Insurance Information Management and Data Governance solution Responsibilities · Proactively perform Data Quality assessment to support achievement of business data governance objectives, ensuring that all work is documented, adheres to standards and is delivered to agreed business timescales- · Proactively monitor known data quality issues through to resolution of all underlying root causes- · Collate reported Data Quality issues into a single register, assess the nature of each issue, instigate and track resolution of issues through the appropriate business areas- · Translate business requirements on controls & data quality rules into actionable Data Profiling rules and test against business data- · Document existing business rules embedded in business data- · Perform root cause analysis of reported data quality issues or anomalies identified during profiling and engage in identifying options for remedial action- · Manage stakeholders to ensure clarity of requirements and priorities; keeping them fully appraised of progress and involved in the resolution of issues- · Supervise and mentor more junior colleagues to jointly deliver projects and to support development of their skills- · Identify opportunities to improve our Data Governance and Data Quality processes- · Raise risks and issues as they are identified and work with your manager to mitigate them- · Operate agreed processes to support the successful functioning of Data Governance processes and to deliver a reliable service to your internal customers- · Share best practice with colleagues within Data Governance through mentoring, documentation and training- Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance and audit requirements and that risks are managed appropriately-
