Background How would you like the opportunity to come and join our award winning teams here in Coventry? We are looking to recruit 2 customer service administrators who are flexible to work between the hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. These roles will be offered on a 6 month fixed term contract. Depending on work volumes this could become permanent but this cannot be guaranteed. These roles are based in Coventry City Centre. The role You will be responsible for the completion of general post on customer accounts that are currently active. Customer requests to lapse or cancel their account will form part of your daily duties along with keeping customer's personal information up to date. You will have the opportunity to complete "changes of agency" based on letters of authority from the new servicing agent. You will be responsible for setting up and amending direct debit instructions based on customer requests and taking ownership of any amendments or corrections to terms and conditions on existing accounts. There will be key performance indicators you will need to meet to ensure that that we always protect our customers, business, employees and shareholders. These will include legal areas such as Data Protection and Money Laundering, as well as regulatory measures such as Fraud, Data security, Compliance and Treating Customers Fairly. As you increase your skills and knowledge you will have the chance to take responsibility for dealing with some other more complex account issues. Skills, knowledge and behaviour - You must have a passion for providing 1st class customer service.
- You will have the desire to treat all customers fairly, to treat customers as individuals and to treat customers as you would like to be treated.
- You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and these will be assessed through out the selection process.
- Having a positive "can do" attitude will help you "think on your feet" and use your own initiative.
- You will be able to work effectively without supervision and must have an open and honest approach.
- PC skills are an essential requirement for this role.
