Job Description
Background

AXA Insurance is one of the largest general insurers in the UK and underwrites a broad range of products for individuals and businesses. Products are distributed primarily through brokers and corporate partners, with a growing presence in the direct market through its website www.axa.co.uk and Swiftcover, the 100% online insurance provider.

The AXA Finance Operations supports AXA Insurance business units by providing operational finance services including premium collection, credit control, banking and instalment plan support. We also provide governance, advice and support on credit risk matters.

We are now expanding our team. 

We have opportunities for you to help us provide a comprehensive credit control, banking and instalments service within the department.


    The role

    Key accountabilities may include the following;

    Credit Control

    • Deliver a credit control, Banking or instalments service, meeting set standards and delivering on set KPIs.
    • Plan credit control activities on a monthly cycle to ensure effective and efficient working and provision of a first class service to brokers.

     Query Management

    • Investigate broker account items queries and pursue timely resolution with branch underwriting teams.

    Credit Risk

    • Identify and escalate all late broker payments or non standard payment patterns that may indicate potential bad debts.

    Back Office

    • Pass all appropriate documentation for back office credit control processing to the UK scanning team on a daily basis.

    Work Tracking:

    • Resolve all queries referred back to the UK by AXA Business Services in India.


      Skills, knowledge and behaviour
      • Excellent English & Mathematics, educated to GCSE level A-C.
      • Strong Customer service skills.
      • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
      • Excellent written & oral communication skills.
      • Energised by working in a fast moving environment.
