The Credit Analyst role is key in understanding the underlying credit quality across the commercial and corporate lending environment. You will provide detailed analysis and control of portfolios, monitoring performance and reporting to senior management and senior committees in the UK and Spain. You will be involved in forecasting losses and reviewing provisioning methodologies and reporting processes. You will be based in Milton Keynes however the role will involve occasional meetings in London.
Qualified to degree level in a numerate discipline (Maths, Statistics, Sciences, Engineering, Economics) or equivalent you will possess exceptional numerical reasoning skills with a passion for business analysis and finding commercial value in data. You will have strong communication, relationship and influencing skills with the ability to explain the results of complex analysis to a non-technical audience and have the confidence to bring change in areas out of your control. Familiarity with statistical concepts, proficient and experienced in SAS programming, and previous experience of credit risk management in retail financial services, in particular commercial and corporate banking, would be a huge advantage.
