Job Description An outstanding opportunity for the right applicant to join the highly successful Financial Institutions UK team- The chance to provide support to an Associate Client Coverage Director covering specific sub sectors within the wider FI franchise- Requirements - Support the Associate Client Coverage Director to drive additional value out of existing client relationships and deliver new clients/income streams supporting CIBs strategic objectives-
- Co-ordinate the breadth of the client relationship in support of the Associate Client Coverage Directors role as "franchise owner"-
- Help drive the client marketing strategy and client contact strategy and prepare high quality pitch documents-
- Undertake financial analysis including debt capacity analysis and debt structuring for both existing and target customers-
- Particular focus upon increasing liabilities and the cross sell of RBS product

- Assist in generating and monitoring income growth within agreed RAROE/RWA guidelines contributing towards the achievement of team targets
- Support the establishment of "Trusted Advisor" relationships with Coverage clients and build strong second tier relationships
- Establish relationships with targeted new connections within the FI Sector
- Market leading CSS scores
The Individual - Strong communication skills and desire to operate in a client facing role
- Developing deal structuring skills and understanding of RBS' range of debt and risk management products
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of relevant bank systems, processes and products and an appreciation of the economic and financial outlook
- Works with limited supervision and has the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands to meet multiple deadlines
- Good credit awareness skills; ability to co-ordinate the credit process and construct credit papers
- Be able to prepare high quality pitch documents
- Ideally working towards professional qualifications
- An understanding of Corporate Finance techniques and the bank's ability and appetite to deliver solutions
