An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Manager- The position encompasses supply chain performance management of external suppliers with specific focus on the supply chain supporting RBS Insurance off-shoring programme- As this this will encompass focus on contract management, project and change activity, internal and external stakeholder management at all levels of the business with a view to enhancing customer and shareholder value by implementing best total cost and service solutions- Given scope of the role Off-Shoring experience would be seen as an advantage- This position can be based in Bromley, Manchester, Pudsey or Glasgow Requirements · Delivery of financial targets with Insurance Purchasing function and Chief Operating Office- · Delivery and management of the Supply chain in line with RBS Insurance Supplier Management processes including QCD design and reporting- - Off-shoring experience a preference, as the successful candidate will be dealing with our supply partners outside of UK- - Identification and Implementation of innovative solutions and deals within the category - Creation of robust and innovative SLA / KPI contract documentation to ensure contractual responsibilities are clear and measureable · Adherence to department policies and procedures· Adherence to RBS Group policies and procedures Responsibilities · Monthly and Quarterly Service, Finance and Risk reviews with suppliers and internal partners- · Performance management, in accordance with procedures of allocated supply chains · Continuous improvement delivery through problem solving and internal/external relationship management · Creation and delivery of internal governance documentation to enable and authorise external supplier actions - Development of supplier strategy to support off-shoring programme, working with RBS Insurance purchasing function- · Wholly support the team to: · Deliver the business plan and its strategic objectives- · Implement new (or refine existing) initiatives- · Expand the productivity of the Department- · Work with Line Manager to manage business plan/strategies, resources and/or budgets to ensure profitability, efficiency and effectiveness of the Team/Department · Ad hoc duties as required · Personal development in line with department and individual business plan objectives Additional Website Text Salary circa £34k pa (higher offers may be considered depending on experience) plus 26% benefits package (including 11% pension) which can be taken as cash- Position Level: Manager 1
