Background
AXA Insurance is one of the largest general insurers in the UK and underwrites a broad range of products for individuals and businesses. Products are distributed primarily through brokers and corporate partners, with a growing presence in the direct market through its website www.axa.co.uk and Swiftcover, the 100% online insurance provider. Following a major restructure we now have three vacancies in our Reading Regional Trading Centre; Fleet - A fleet underwriter with significant commercial fleet underwriting experience. You will have the ability and ambition to progress to a senior position.
MTA Team - An experienced commercial underwriter to work in the Mid Term Alterations Team - you will need a solid background in writing commercial property and liability business. You will enjoy working as part of a small team, dealing with all mid term alterations for the branch (excluding Fleet business). You may well move to one of the commercial teams at a later date depending on your progress and desire to move into renewal underwriting. However, you may prefer to remain in the MTA team and we can accomodate this. You may be ambitious and at the start of your career or you could be looking for a steady job with a good company.
Commercial Team - A commercial underwriter with experience of writing all types of commercial property & liability. You will be concentrating on new business and you will be someone who has an appetite for this type of underwriting.
