Job Description This job involves researching and developing benefits realisation activity and tracking against key defined benefit initiatives, driving income and realising savings- Working with key Leaders in the Claims Organisation you will provide insight to inform the Decision making process and drive progress against plan- You will form exceptional stakeholder relationships with Business Partners to ensure that the Claims agenda is fully supported within the Business- Development and deployment of outstanding technical expertise will ensure achievement of success and business advantage- Development of your own technical and industry knowledge and sharing of this with others will be a key part of this role- Requirements · Detailed understanding of key operational and financial claims metrics and statistical techniques to assess performance against plan- · Determining and driving informed intervention strategies to correct variances and drive step improvements in claims performance · Excellent knowledge of MI systems & data extraction & manipulation tools · Analytical capability & highly numerate · Apply planning, prioritisation & project management disciplines · Ability to identify opportunities and threats to benefit realisation that will affect the business · Effectively influence prioritisation of activity to meet business needs · Lead change and motivate others to improve other people's performance · Key stakeholder and matrix management through excellent communication · Manage customer expectations Responsibilities § To advise on & influence planning and execution of benefits realisation- § To influence the design, development and implementation of appropriate Financial & Operational MI & analytical solutions for all aspects of benefits realisation working with Decision Support- § To develop and implement strategies to address emerging risks to benefit realisation relating to all aspects of Claims indemnity & expense costs § To build and maintain relationships with claims leaders and business stakeholders to achieve objectives and drive delivery of business requirements § To develop and drive the implementation of plans to ensure delivery against business targets & defined customer service proposition § To lead the reporting of benefit realisation across the function to achieve business goals The Individual § Works well in a matrix structure to motivate others through their energetic and focus on the delivery of tangible business benefit § Has the confidence to make and influence significant decisions § Has the ability to develop abstract thinking into pragmatic solutions § Is able to remain focussed on priorities when dealing with conflicting demands § Managers conflict in a robust and challenging manner § Has the strong influencing skills and develops key internal and external relationships § Has the ability to quickly identify and analyse key issues in complex situations § Is able to recognise the wider implications of decisions and their potential impact
