Job Description
The Cash & ATMs Operations Senior Manager will be responsible for managing the Cash & ATM Operations function within Cash & ATMs, Manufacturing. Specifically responsible for the management of Group cash services within Santander's ATM and branch network and managing contracted operational expenditure against budget and ensuring settlement with 3rd party providers on a daily basis.

You will manage a team that places great importance on working together and adhere to people management processes and deliver HR metrics in line with business area people plans.
In this role you will lead and motivate a cross-site team to ensure that department targets are achieved as well as monitor risk and controls, manage information for ATM and branch cash management and availability performance.
You will work with other stakeholders to enhance and oversee the ATM and Branch security policy, to ensure that the security risk associated with implementing and managing an ATM is fully assessed and that loss from attacks is kept within targeted levels.

You will be implementing a strategy to balance the operational costs of managing the ATM and branch network against customer service and profit targets and manage the budget whilst implementing opportunities to improve reducing costs.
Ensuring that ATM and branch cash complaints are managed within company and regulatory policy to ensure compliance and avoid any penalties or adverse publicity from either organisation are also a key requirement in your role.
You will deliver major operational change to implement an efficient and effective ATM and branch environment that delivers to key operational requirement and manage supplier relationships to ensure that operational targets are consistently achieved and represent Santander.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent customer service and experience of managing and leading a team and knowledge of the financial Industry and bank internal procedures and processes.
