Job Description The purpose of the role is to produce signed-off Divisional Basel 2 monthly reporting packs for Pillar 1 and Pillar 3 Key deliverables include: - Signed-off Division wide Credit RWA information - Signed-off Division wide FSA Returns (FSA 004, FSA 003, FSA 0045) - Signed-off Division wide Total Credit Exposure to the RBS Board - Divisional MI - Ad hoc queries raised by FSA, senior management and Group Functions Requirements · Ability to understand the key drivers and issues behind the reported outputs - Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage large quantities of complex quantitative and qualitative information
· Structured, systematic approach, working to a high degree of accuracy- · Ability to understand and analyse complex problems, formulate practical solutions and track them to resolution- - Ability to deliver to tight deadlines- There will be a requirement for longer hours & weekend working during key reporting periods
- Manage relationship with Divisional Finance/Credit, Group Chief Accountants and Group Credit Risk
- Basel 2 / Regulatory Reporting experience in particular Credit Risk
- A good working knowledge of PC applications, particularly Business Objects and Access-
· A broad understanding of Retail and/or Wholesale banking products · 2-5 Years Reporting and Analysis/Banking experience Responsibilities · Validating and uploading Divisional adjustments · 1st level review of complex credit risk outputs, requiring specialist knowledge and judgement- · Ability to understand the key drivers and issues behind the reported outputs and provide options and recommend solutions when issues arise during the reporting cycle · Preparation of Monthly Divisional Credit RWA packs, includes o Pillar 1 and TCRE o Pillar 3 o FSA Returns (FSA 004, FSA 0045) o Credit Risk MI · Adhoc queries from Senior Management, GCA, GCR and FSA · Continuous improvement and ad hoc project work · User Acceptance Testing Assist the other monthly BAU team as and when necessary
