Based in our offices in Bristol ; we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Capital Reporting Analyst to deliver actuarial results relating to the capital position of our business.
The role
- You will work independently on actuarial measures, using actuarial experience and judgement, to ensure results are delivered on time and accurately.
- Providing actuarial expertise, by using actuarial knowledge to stay up to speed with recent developments and to provide advice and recommendations.
- Ensuring delivery of analysis of actuarial results is produced, using actuarial judgement and analytical skills, to produce high quality analysis of key metrics for use.
- Co-ordinating analysts in the production of the results and analyses, providing direction to ensure staff are able to deliver a quality output.
- Coaching and motivating members of the actuarial team to ensure they are developed in their technical ability.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
The successful candidate will have:- - Ability and experience of organising motivating and developing others.
- Fellow of the Institute (or Faculty) of Actuaries with post qualification experience.
- Experience and understanding of regulatory requirements, or capital reporting regimes .
- Good written and verbal communication skills, including be able to communicate technical content clearly to a non-technical audience.
- Analytical problem solving skills .
- Experience of people management is advantageous
