Job Description
This is a vitally important part of the success of the Coutts Private Office, supporting the head of the team as well as managing the client events programme-

Role Purpose & Daily Tasks

 

  • Provide a consistent, credible and accessible point of contact for Dept Head-
  • Provide support to Department Head, assisting in achievement of his/her key objectives for the year and reinforcing team work and best practices-
  • Manage secretariat function for meetings chaired by the Department Head including the management of a running list of actions - monitoring, controlling and reporting on key activities progress as required by the Dept Head-
  • Manage the output from the various Committees that Department Head attends and monitor and control any action points arising under their responsibility-
  • Manage the implementation and communication of any general business activities driven by the Department Head-
  • Act as a focal point for resolution of issues and improvement activity, in relation to the respective teams within the Department-
  • Collate Risk requirements within the team reviewing and reporting effectively-
  • Provide day to day administrative support such as scheduling meetings, arranging travel and accommodation and maintaining relevant HR records-
  • Organise Internal client events (e-g- education days), including arranging venues, speakers, catering etc-
  • Organise an extensive programme of external client events, including contacting clients to issue invites, monitoring replies and communicating outcomes with private bankers (PBs)-
  • Manage the complex logistics of event management over several locations for clients, which may take place away from Group premises and outside the UK-
  • Manage event costs within a prescribed budget-


    Skills
    • High level of knowledge in relation to the operation of Coutts & Co and Wealth Management-
    • Experience of working in a wealth management environment or similar role experience within the broader RBS Group-
    • Attention to detail and high quality standards-
    • Ability to source, collate and present data-
    • Strong analytical and problems solving skills
    • A collaborative style with an ability to communicate well both orally and in written form-
    • Numerate, literate and with a high level relationship/interpersonal skills-
    • Appetite to learn and for self development-
    • Self starter who is willing to take the initiative-
    • PC literate-
    • Willingness to study for appropriate professional qualifications
    • GCSE / O-Level English and Mathematics
