| Job Description |
Job Description To provide administrative and project support to the Leadership & Talent team members within Retail- Ensuring efficient running of the department and their key deliverables- Responsibilities - The receipt and handling of telephone calls on behalf of the Leadership & Talent Team
- Schedule diary, travel, accommodation and meeting arrangements as required
- Organisation of meetings, internal and external, including; preparation and distribution of meetings packs when and where necessary
- Organisation of files and information/reports
- Production of letters and agenda, minutes as required
- Actions management - ensure that all outstanding actions and deadlines are tracked and cascaded to others in the team as applicable, to ensure delivery of right solutions on time
- Co-ordinate responses on behalf of functional head/BP to various requests from HRD office
- Co-ordination and submission of invoices and expenses
- Retrieval of PeopleSoft information as required
- Co-ordination and organisation of confidential talent data with HR BP's in line with the Talent Watch Process
- Event Management of Talent events within Retail, Wealth & Ulster Division such as Speaker events, Executive masterclasses and Talent Dinners
- Working with Business Boards, Executives and Senior Managers to ensure personal data profiles are upto date to support talent and development discussions
The Individual - Previous experience of working within a professional business environment - including telephone handling and administration
- Professional inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels including Senior Executives within RBS Group
- Reliable, flexible, proactive and trustworthy
- Ability to work, and act, on own initiative
- Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Able to exercise complete discretion when dealing with material of a highly confidential nature
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills - able to prioritise own workload and manage/deliver competing priorities effectively and flexibly (even in absence of functional head/BP)
Scope of Role: - Working primarily in support of Leadership & Talent manager and supporting head of Retail Learning where necessary
- Excellent PC skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
