Role/Team Summary:
Please complete with: Team Structure, team function and responsibilities, role specific responsibilities etc · Purpose of the role: Responsible for various activities underpinning the day-to-day Business Management activity for Syndicate Key Responsibilities: · MI, decision support and analytical duties as directed · Assist with Syndicate reporting as required, including, inter alia, RWAs, underwriting exposures, Overdues and Mark to Market · Liaising with Finance and the franchises · Bring innovative solutions to Syndicate reporting and operational issues · Assist in improving Syndicate process through contribution to projects and ad hoc initiatives management/liaison for existing projects · Project management, including, inter alia projects to deliver the necessary technological change to improve accuracy, robustness and efficiency in the Syndicate process
Essential Experience: (Must have skills)
Specific business knowledge & technical knowledge required · Good understanding of the loan and bond capital markets product set · Good knowledge of loan and bond operations · Good financial accounting and finance systems knowledge · Successfully influencing senior management · Prior loan and bond capital markets experience · Accuracy of reporting is key · Timely revenue and position management · Cost management where appropriate
Supplementary Experience: (Useful additional skill
· Project management techniques · Finance or Legal qualification · Prior Finance/Reporting/Legal/Operations/Middle Office/Management Consulting experience
