We are currently looking for a Business Development Administration Executive who will be responsible for supporting team co-ordination activities. You will be reporting to the Director of Strategy and working in collaboration with the Business Development team, and the Head of Business Development UK. The Business Development team activities and strategy is devised to ensure that the projected new to bank customers, full banking relationships and income objectives are delivered via the Regional Business Centres. As a Business Development Administration Executive your skills and qualifications will ideally include: - Proven track record of relevant business experience
- Fully proficient and skilled in Windows packages including - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and relevant business databases / systems.
- Planning and Organising - Excellent organisational and planning skills, ability to plan own work with effective prioritisation of deadlines
- Communications - Translate key business performance, best practise, tactics into the most appropriate format to share with Senior Stakeholders and throughout SCCBB
- Strategic - An appreciation of the Bank's business environment, a commercial outlook, and a strategic perspective
- Drive Performance - Willing and able to suggest change, demonstrating drive in continuously seeking ways to improve on existing processes and add value to the business
- Ability to manage various activities simultaneously, manage conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines.
As a Business Development Administration Executive your main responsibilities will involve: - Providing business support to the Business Development team (c26 FTE), including Director of Strategy and Head of Business Development UK.
- Undertaking / obtaining specific research on clients, market segments, and business growth opportunities
- Supporting the Director of Strategy with the co-ordination of all key Business Development work streams
- Assisting with the preparation of key reporting, presentations and documentation
- Arranging client meetings (internal and external|), events co-ordination, team communications, travel / accommodation, maintaining cost centres, key expenses, diary management, team shared drive custodian
- Dealing with general team enquires that are routed via Director of Strategy or Head of Business Development UK.
- Assisting the Business Development team to become 'Role Model' in its own process's, by owning key regulatory, Operational Risk Monitoring, compliance and 'housekeeping' duties, ensuring consistency and scalability in all that we do.
