We really value our people, because they make us what we are- You'll work hard, and in return receive a highly competitive salary and an excellent flexible benefits package- With your help, we'll be 'Britain's Best General Insurer'- And as we progress and develop, we'll make sure you do too-   As a Business Controls Administrator you will be responsible for providing exceptional levels of customer service to NIG policy holders- Answering incoming calls, and liaising with the Motor Insurance Database and Employee Liability Tracing Office helpdesk where necessary- You will also be monitoring and tracking NIG Commercial Lines Motor Insurance Database, Continuous Insurance Enforcement and Employee Liability Tracing Office performance, and work with the business to identify issues and enhance data accuracy through reporting- You will develop, maintain and manage relationships with key stakeholders, in order to successfully communicate adherence to processes and practices-


    Requirements
    You will need to be able to demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills- An understanding of compliance and FSA regulations would be advantageous- Attention to detail and accuracy of reporting is essential


      Responsibilities
      • Acting on policyholder enquiries regarding new/ reset passwords to enable them to access and up-date their policy on the Motor Insurance Database
      • Identifying and resolving any issues being experienced by the broker/ customer on their policies with regards to the Motor Insurance Database, escalating where necessary
      • Monitor NIG Motor Insurance Database and Continuous Insurance Enforcement performance against set targets and Financial Services Authority requirements-  
      • Understanding and investigating any decline in performance, liaising with the business to understand any underlying reasons and track through to resolution 
      • Provide accurate and timely production of reports to aid the business in providing robust data to the Motor Insurance Database and Employees Liability Data Base Pro actively  
      • Identify opportunities in order to develop self resulting in maximising your personal contribution to the job  
      • Contribute to reports within the agreed timescales

        • Current utility bill or bank statement with your name and address on it and dated within the last 3 months (council tax bills can be within 6 months)
        You will also need to provide documents to verify your activity over the past 2 years- These could include:
        • Current payslip dated within the last 3 months, or a P45 or P60 if dated within the last 3 months
        • If you have less than 2 years work experience because you have recently left education please provide documentation regarding academic qualifications obtained within this period
