You will provide consultancy and supporting services to Santander to enable the delivery of effective business solutions that are consistent with corporate objectives. You will champion improvements to ensure Risk supports the Santander business model and support strategic and key business initiatives and will add value through shaping, scoping and challenging ideas for implementation. You will work closely with project managers and business stakeholders to deliver effective change and you may also lead virtual teams of subject matter experts. To fulfil this role you will have accountability for process and data design and improvement, project management, stakeholder relations and communication.

You will have exposure in Santander already or alternatively experience of a similar commercial environment and knowledge in financial services.
You will have experience ideally combining consulting, change management, line management or a strategic role and you will already have planning and project management skills and sound basis of process modelling and analytical methods, tools and techniques

This role will also suit someone who is able to build a rapport and establish immediate credibility at the most senior levels and has excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will also have experience in Business and corporate / commercial banking.
