| Job Description |

In this sales focused role at one of our branches, you will be responsible for giving our customers all the guidance they need to realise their personal financial goals.
This will involve engaging people from all walks of life, gathering information, matching requirements to products and closing the sale or referring the enquiry to a colleague.
As well as offer an excellent service to our customers, our Personal Banking Advisers are assured and effective communicators and are required to motivate and coach counter staff, so you can expect variety and challenge every day.
In order to join our exciting team, you will need to have proven targeted sales experience in a retail-banking environment, with a good understanding of financial products and solutions. However if you can demonstrate a proven successful background in another target-driven sales environment, with a keen interest and knowledge in the financial sector we'd still really like to hear from you.
Skills required:
· Good general knowledge of the personal financial services industry
· Strong inter-personal and sales skills with customers, able and keen to generate natural conversations, ask engaging questions and listen well.
· Confident and skilled in triggering customer curiosity by pointing out where they can make or save money - and in asking for the business i.e. a referral to a sales colleague.
· Efficient and accurate in following sales processes and completing related administration.
· Professional and credible
· Highly focused on success / exceeding expectations |
