Background AXA Insurance is developing a new IT system to support Commercial Insurance policy processing. The new system (AXIS) will ultimately replace ABR & I90. The AXIS solution deploys a number of new technologies: the Duck Creek Example platform, Software AG's WebMethods Enterprise Service Bus and HP Exstream Document system are 3 examples. The development is predominately located in Bolton with the co-location of Business, BSD and supplier resources, working closely together in the design, build, test and delivery of the system components. We are currently recruiting for 3 developers to join this team. The AXIS system, based on the Duck Creek Example platform, is configured to meet AXA's requirements via a tool called Author®. The business specific requirements are 'configured' using Author. The configuration tool generates XML statements. The future vision for AXA Commercial is the creation of a business environment that is truly Agile, able to rapidly adapt to changing market conditions.
