Based in our offices in Bristol (Aztec West) or Basingstoke ; we currently have an great opportunity for an Automation Test Analyst to work in an exciting part of the business that focuses on our Wrap Investment Platform - "Elevate" and our core Pensions platform "Embassy" where you will be expected to help support a variety of challenging test projects and business as usual test activities.
The role
Reporting into the Technical Test Manager, your role with us will be vital as you will be expected to take an active involvement in creating automated regression tests using QTP and/or Microsoft Coded UI as we look to develop an automated solution for testing our WRAP and Pensions platforms. Taking scripts from our Test Analysts and Test leads, the key to this role will be your ability to code using C# and VBScript to write the Automation tests.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate:
- Extensive experience in creating and supporting automated tests .
- Experience of using automation frameworks
- The ability to code using C# and VBScript
- ISEB Testing Foundation certificate preferred.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- A high level of methodical thinking and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently without oversight when required.
- Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels.
Candidates with experience of using the Axe automation framework will be of particular interest.
