Background This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Protection Sales Team in Bristol. Your role will be to lead a team of Telephone Account Managers in order to deliver agreed sales targets by selling AXA's Protection products and services to a panel of IFA.
The role
Actively manage the performance and development of team members to maximise capability and delivery.
Contribute to the development of strategy for the business area.
Lead the development of contact strategies and individual business plans to ensure delivery of the Area business plan.
Monitor progress against Area plan and take prompt action to keep performance on track.
Apply knowledge of the marketplace, designated IFAs and the AXA Life product/service proposition to ensure that business plans deliver maximum commercial advantage to AXA Life.
Develop, agree and implement a personal business plan for designated accounts, consistent with area objectives, in order to deliver agreed NBI/Penetration targets.
Develop protection sales through collaborative working with key internal Protection Distribution Channel stakeholders.
Deliver and document sales activity in line with agreed business plans.
Identify the support required to deliver agreed targets (resources, training etc.)
Identify and build relationships with key accounts at a Senior Management level to support their relationship with AXA
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
Knowledge of the Protection industry AND a strong working knowledge on the IFA market is vital
Experience of managing and motivating a team.
Experience of coaching direct reports.
Strong planning and organisational skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Flexibility, adaptability to manage under pressure and cope with change.
Self starting and proactive.
Creative and imaginative.
Demonstrated relationship development and management skills
